We were super excited about the Torch Relay took place in Edmonton! So, we arrived Sir Winston Churchill Square at 5pm to reserve ourselves a good spot.
Before the torch arrived, there were about 2 hours of performances, including bands, singers, dancers, and various other performers and entertainment. Our photographer already took tons of photos about the performances!
At about 7pm, Olympian Doreen Ryan arrived with the torch. Everyone was so touching at that moment because of the Olympic, Canadian and Edmontonian spirit! Many people including me were waving and cheering to Doreen to show our respect to her, and she also waved back to us and I could see she was just feeling the same as the crowd!
I will never forget this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
